A group of OBceans have organized another opportunity to hear from some of the candidates for the District 2 City Council seat. At this Community Town Hall Meeting you’ll have the opportunity to submit a question to be asked of the candidates, hear their vision for OB, and mingle with them after the program.

The Ocean Beach Town Council with OB Friends of the Library, San Diego Library Foundation, and City of San Diego invite you to a forum about the expansion of the OB Library. Light appetizers and beverages will be served from 6-7p and you’ll have the opportunity to view current expansion drawings, chat with staff from the City, and share any feedback. The program begins at 7pm during which you’ll hear the history of the library expansion, details on the current status, and what the future holds. This is an exciting time in Ocean Beach as years of hard work to expand the library are quickly coming to fruition!If you can’t make it in person, the program portion will be livestreamed on the OBTC Facebook page (no account required to view) and the feedback surveys will be open online and in person at the library for the next two weeks.
