For Shelly, joining the OBCF Board was a natural fit after experiencing the "holiday joy and Board camaraderie" while volunteering for the Food & Toy Drive. John, a newcomer to Ocean Beach, was drawn in by the community's enthusiasm for events like the Taste of OB and Pancake Breakfast. Dawnette simply states, "I wanted to give back to a community that I love!"
