THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!

On behalf of the Ocean Beach Town Council, we sincerely hope that you enjoyed a beautiful holiday this week, however you chose to celebrate. December is around the corner and the holidays are back in full swing in OB! Read on to learn all the ways you can participate, support, and enjoy this season!

We are proud to bring you the 42nd Annual OB Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 5:05 pm! The parade is back on Newport Ave in its traditional format.

Our 2021 Parade Theme is Rockin' Around The Crooked Tree.

For over forty decades, our quaint little village of Ocean Beach has hosted one of the best Holiday Parades in SoCal. On the 1st Saturday of December, Newport Avenue is lined with colorful OBceans and visitors, all eagerly awaiting the commencement of the parade.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE PARADE

Since the very beginning, the OB Holiday Parade has always been driven by the generous volunteerism of the community. We cannot produce this epic event without the help of over 100 volunteers! There are tons of ways to volunteer for the parade including volunteer shifts before, during, and after the event. BE A PARADE VIP

This year’s VIP deck is going to be absolutely epic. We have the entire rail all the way through Surf Lodge and the Sunset Plaza deck reserved for the VIP experience which means you can cruise right down to the parade, grab a complimentary cocktail and appetizer and enjoy prime front row viewing. VIP tickets are $75 and proceeds go to fund the parade!

PARK LIKE A PARADE PRO

The Pier Parking Lot will be available for reserved parking this year. Snag your spot in advance and leave your parking worries behind! You’ll need to enter the pier lot between 2-4pm and will be able to exit shortly after the parade is over.
