Dear Ocean Beach Community Foundation Supporters,

The Ocean Beach Community Foundation (OBCF) is ready to share some details with the OB community that we have learned as a result of the iterative progress with our attorney and CPA. We will host a Community Town Hall on Wednesday, May 15 at 7:00 pm (Point Loma Hervey Branch Library) and hope that you can attend in-person or on Zoom.

We appreciate your patience as we are diving in to past year financials back through 2018, updating bylaws and standing rules, preparing for our annual events and elections. We are at a place to hold elections and have a candidate forum planned for Wednesday, June 26. If you or anyone you know would like to submit a candidate statement, please do so by June 23 (instructions below).

This is the only centralized email that we currently have access to and are working towards lifting up a new Google for Nonprofits Workspace on behalf of the Ocean Beach Community Foundation.

OBCF Board Director Elections

for the 2024/2025 Term

The Ocean Beach Community Foundation is excited to announce election of new Board Directors for the 2024/2025 term. Please submit a candidate statement by June 23 and mark your calendar for a live, in-person statement on June 26 at 7:00 pm at the Point Loma / Hervey Branch Library.

Voting will commence June 26 - July 4, with new Board Directors starting their term on  June 12. Regular, monthly OBCF Board meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 pm with November and December meetings dark for the Board to commit time and energy to the season of holiday events. Please direct all election questions to [email protected].
