Get trained to save a life
NARCAN Nasal Spray can help reverse an opioid overdose
At our September public meeting, representatives from SAY San Diego shared about trends associated with alcohol and other drug use in San Diego. Part of the presentation focused on the deadly affects of fentanyl.
As a follow up to this presentation, we scheduled a training through the National Alliance of Mental Illness, San Diego Chapter, to equip OBceans with the ability to identify an individual who is suffering from the effects of fentanyl (or any opioid overdose) and how to administer the drug Narcan (naloxone), which could save their life. This training will take place tonight on Zoom at 5:30pm and is open to all community members. Individuals who complete the training will be eligible to receive a kit including Narcan. Information on how to receive your kit will be distributed following the training.
Register for the training below and join us tonight!
