The Parade is Here!

The 2023 parade kicks off at 5:05 pm on Saturday, December 2nd with the lighting of the holiday tree located at the corner of Newport and Abbott.

Floats Need Your Votes

We have over 100 entries that will cruise down Newport Ave. and NEW THIS YEAR we are asking the community to give STARS to their favorite floats. Visit http://obholidayparade.com/ to follow along, read narratives about each of the floats, give them stars… and view a parade map for details about accessible parking and other parade landmarks.

Don’t Miss a Thing

Catch the pre-show banter at 4:40 pm with stories from parade’s past. Pre-show will be hosted by Mike James, one of the founders of OB’s holiday traditions and Noah Tafolla, host of the tv show Wonderland.

Announcer zones are the best spots in the parade route if you want to listen to the announcers celebrate each float. Locate one of the three announcer zones, 1. near the tree, hosted by Mike James and Noah Tafolla, 2. under the Happy OB Holidays sign, hosted by Trudy Levenson and Greg Winter, or 3. at Newport and Sunset Cliffs, hosted by Chris and Jo Peregoy, owners of OBBC and last year’s Grand Marshals.

2023 Holiday Shirts

New year, new amazing artwork! The holiday t-shirts will be for sale for $25 at parade headquarters at corner of Newport and Sunset Cliffs (while supplies last).

Did you forget to buy a previous year’s t-shirt? There will be a limited selection of holiday shirts from years past to add to your collection at parade headquarters.
